Calculated acts of kindness.
Most of us have seen the quote. In fact, there are entire organizations devoted to the “philosophy” - random acts of kindness. While there is plenty of good behind this trendy trend, we should not limit ourselves to being kind at random. It is far more important and more in line with our inner goals to perform calculated acts of kindness.
Being kind should not be a random act. Kindness should be planned, coordinated, and intentional - and it should be employed often, if not constantly.
To fully engage in kindness, it should become a lifestyle - not a random act. We should make a concerted effort to be kind, even when being kind is difficult. The higher power within us desires to be of service, to be helpful, and to make a real difference in the lives of others.
We need to be intentional with acts of kindness, and make a decision to be kind every day, in every situation - not just when we feel like being kind.
